What is paint correction? Paint correction is the removal of scratches, oxidation, marring, acid etching, fading, and other defects from the paint with mechanical leveling. It has the BIGGEST impact on the final result of the detail. If left alone, the defects will still show through wax or coatings and distort the reflection of light, dulling the shine. See the interactive 50/50 before/after below for a visual demonstration.
